Liverpool will do 'em again for sure - 2-0 victory at Anfield tonight, then a goalless draw at the bridge.

whats wrong with ur foot u muppet schoolboy error could cost us rediculous
  • 23-Apr-2008 1:04 AM
silly thing is if chelsea go on they only did it with liverpools help seems thats all they are and will ever be
  • 23-Apr-2008 4:56 AM

the really silly thing is:  Chelsea can't even score a goal! They either get deflections, deflected headers or like yesterday unforntunate own goals. Chelsea are rubbish..Drogba is the biggest diving whimp I have ever seen in football.  He must have spent more time on the floor than acutally playing football and every time he came back and was running about like nothing had happened.

The sooner we get these imported players out of the Premiership the better...I mean if Mark Hughes or Vinnie Jones tackled Drogba, he would really know about it.

When was the time that commentators said the odd foreign player and mostly British players, but look at it now, all of Chelsea & Arsenal are just foreign..It is pathetic. Foreign players are just diving, cheating whimps and should get out of our game, because we don't want you...

man utd in 1992:  Bruce, Irwin, Palister, Parker, Scholes, Giggs, Cantona, Hughes, Kanchelskis, Sharpe, Blackmore etc.

compare that team to the teams of today...9 of those players above are British...today 9 of those players would be foreign, especially at Chelsea and Arsenal...English Premier League don't make me laugh!!

Hope Liverpool win next week and United win tonight.

Come on you reds (both of them!)

As a neutral football fan watching the game last night  firstly my sympathies to Liverpool -you were robbed of a deserved victory - Cheski must be thanking their lucky stars yet again but a boring, boring side -god forbid they win the champions cup but with their luck its sadly quite possible.Secondly I cant wait for that pathetic excuse for a proffessional footballer - DROGBA (who else) to leave these shores at the end of the season. He should have been a ballerina at the the royal ballet - he spent more time showboating  and rolling around on the ground than making any significant impact in the game all night  - he was a disgrace to the Chelsea shirt he was wearing and if any chelsea fan reading admits to condoning his antics then they also are a disgrace to genuine football lovers of the game as we would hope to see it played worldwide. In fact the only reason Chelsea won this game was because all the time added on in the second half for this moron,s play acting - he should have won a gong at this weeks BAFTA awards- a total f--ck-- disgrace . Spain or Italy you are wellcome to him.

I think you are very blind and one track minded, yes chelsea got an own goal yesterday but thats liverpools fault and not chelsea's leverpool had the same luck last year with knocking chelsea out with a goal that should not have been as it did not even cross the line and this was proven afterwards, what comes around goes around, and if anything we deserved a goal considering the chances and decisions from the ref, yes drogba is not the most honest player, but when you look back over your precious man united, who was the player in the international games that got rooney sent of by a cheating tactical display, your very own ronaldo, what a lovely team mate. He does his fair share of diving even though he is on top form and he is foreign!!!!!!

Liverpool and man united have more foreign players than chelsea have altogether, Liverpool who do they have as a regular english first team player? : Gerrard, Carriger  pennant thats it really and man unted ferdinand, rooney and mabey neville (giggs is welsh so not count). Chelsea have half the england team as regular players: lampard, terry, ashley cole, joe cole, shaun wright phillips. So i am affraid your foreign player argument falls apart there.

so despite the arguing you all agree that it is too many hot country players ruining the game. oddly enough even tho i rate riise on his day..... it was his moment that spoilt liverpools lead. on the whole it was a good game to watch. liverpool had one of their better days lastnight and for the most time... showed how average chelski. but then for the arguement of the world v the premier leauge. bobby is right. chealsea are feilding on a regular basis more english players than the other 3 teams in the top 4 put together. but how-ever it has been said that fifa are suppose to be making it that they must field atleast 3 or 4 english players. this is because the national side is so poor and its a sad day when your national team rates an old division 2 player (now the championship) from that great club every1 talks about preston ne lmao.. you know him.... nugget lmao(nugent b4 any1 gets shirty lol). bring back the brian clough days when football was football. and every1 played football for the love of it and for the huge amounts of cash, when the national side played for free and was proud to wear the shirt. but hey sorry to bleat on.... but i also am a neutral and to be fair wanted liverpool to win. but with a poor record at stamford bridge.... let hope for atleast 1-1 and extra time and pens lmao.... oh and even tho their are so many none english players in the teams...... do you think that there would be 3 english sides in the semis (which could have been 4 if the draw was diffent lol ) if they fielded a mostly english side?..... i dont think so. happy days all.

Everyone knew this would be a close game, Liverpool were only counter attacking for most of the game, which is strange at home, but understandable when playing a better side. I am glad that everything is still to play for, Liverpool will have to come out fighting in the second leg and they will probably be punished. It is good that at least one English side will be in the final, whoever wins. United will probably choke in the Champions League, as they are doing in the Premiership. But I would like to see an all English final. Come on St George.

All I can say about last nights game is that Chelsea are lucky B's (and that's putting it politely).  LIverpool thoroughly deserved to win that match.  Chelsea are so so boring, they do not deserve to be challenging for the Premiership title or be in the Champions League.  Although I am a Bluebirds supporter, I have always followed Liverpool and they deserve to be in the final of th European Cup, hopefully against Man Utd.  Please don't let Chelsea qualify, could end up being the most boring final ever. Come on City, bring the F.A cup back to Wales.

FAT FRANK did'nt get a kick,

JOE COLE nearly threw a "flid"

CARVALHO looked like a rabbit in the headlights

BALLACK did'nt turn up. ( lets get rid, crap kraut)

MALOUDA, KALOU ............ALL OUTPLAYED

DROGBA IS A DISCRACE TO CHELSEA FOOTBALL CLUB

WITHOUT "THE WALL" PETR CECH WE WOULD HAVE SEEN A PRETTY COMFORTABLE LIVERPOOL WIN.

I WANT MY TEAM TO PLAY, WIN, CELEBRATE HELPED ALONG THE WAY WITH A LITTLE LUCK.

NOT THE SPECTACLE FROM LAST NIGHT ......OR THE BORING WAY WEVE BEEN PLAYING.

SORRY LIVERPOOL FC.

IF WE GO ON MAN UTD WOULD DESTROY US ANYWAY, THE UTD WAY IS EVERYTHING WE ALL SHOULD BE DEMANDING FROM OUR TEAMS, DON'T BLAME FOREIGNERS.
