Apparently all non EU players will be tested before coming to England. They will be told England will win the World Cup and those who do not burst out into hysterical laughter will be refused entry into the country.

Remember the two players from Argentina who joined Spurs, Oswaldo Ardilles and Ricky Villa.

Listen to Oswaldo Ardilles now, he could not speak English when he came to this country, now it is a pleasure to listen to his perfect grammar and extensive vocabulary.

Perhaps he could teach English to Glen Hoddle.  I still cringe when I remember Glen saying, "we can't afford to make them sort of mistakes".  Please, Glen is should have been, 'those mistakes'.

You have probably noticed that a lot of foreign footballers put our own Engligh players to shame.  Come on lads, less incoherent grunting, less meaningless phrases, such as, 'you know', well we don't until you tell us! and 'sort of', sort of what!
